Essence of Pleasance

The owner of this coach van enjoyed taking it to concerts, sports games, and dinners with friends and family but decided to kick it up a notch by tasking BlueSpeed AV with transforming it into the ultimate private entertainment space on four wheels. This process began by focusing on how guests interact with the van to create an experience that embodied simplicity, reliability, and an intrinsic 'essence of pleasure' for those inside.

Initially, the coach van manufacturer had installed an automation system that required four remotes, and the owner could only turn features on in a specific order. This cumbersome design essentially required guests to go through a significant tutorial to use it; time better spent enjoying the van on the way to its destination.

One iPad is stationed between the two air ride captain chairs at the back of the vehicle and is perched on a LaunchPort to accommodate charging while still being detachable. Guests can use the tablet to select multiple sporting games and watch them simultaneously as a group, or they can choose different mood scenes programmed with playlist options, lighting levels, favorite TV channels, and more.
